Biography
My Story
Mohammad Qwider is a Palestinian visual artist, born in Jerusalem in 2000 and currently living in the town of Issawiya. His artistic practice originates in photography and intersects with video art and installation, drawing from the daily life of Jerusalem and the rich cultural environment surrounding him.
His work spans both digital and analog photography, with a special appreciation for film photography as a visual experience that adds a unique layer to some of his projects, often focusing on traditional darkroom printing techniques.
He is deeply engaged with Arab-Palestinian culture and gives thoughtful attention to the experiences of layered identities, while remaining open to diverse cultures worldwide.
He holds a Bachelor's degree with honors in Photography from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, and continues to develop artistic projects exploring themes of identity, culture, and society.

محمد قويدر هو فنان بصري فلسطيني، وُلد في القدس عام 2000 ويعيش في بلدة العيسوية. ينطلق في ممارسته الفنية من التصوير الفوتوغرافي، ويتقاطع مع الفيديو آرت وفن التركيب (الأنستليشن)، مستندًا إلى تفاصيل الحياة اليومية في القدس والبيئة الثقافية الغنية من حوله.
تتنوع ممارساته بين التصوير الرقمي والتصوير التناظري (الأنالوج)، حيث يجد في التصوير التناظري تجربة بصرية تضيف طابعًا خاصًا لبعض مشاريع، مع تركيز على تقنيات الطباعة التقليدية.
يهتم بشكل خاص بالثقافة العربية الفلسطينية، ويولي أهمية لتجارب الهويات المتعددة، مع انفتاح على الثقافات المتنوعة حول العالم.
حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس مع مرتبة الشرف في التصوير الفوتوغرافي من أكاديمية بتسلئيل للفنون والتصميم في القدس، وما زال يواصل تطوير مشاريعه الفنية التي تتناول موضوعات الهوية، الثقافة، والمجتمع

Mission
To produce works that combine digital and analog photography, video art, and installation, presenting stories and scenes that highlight the richness of life and individuality, while avoiding stereotypical representations and continually refining his artistic approach.

Goals
I aim to continuously develop his artistic projects by exploring new techniques and mediums, integrating digital and analog photography with video art and installation, participating in local and international exhibitions, collaborating with artists and institutions to promote cultural exchange, and producing a personal photography project documenting life and culture in Jerusalem.
